Membership Information for OMFRC (Status)
Many parents obtain the Certificate of Aboriginal Status cards for their children. There are very few forms of photo ID for children and this card fills that need in many situations. There are also people who are proud of their native heritage and want something to show it. Click here to see some sample cards.
We understand that many people won’t be able to supply all of the information asked for on the Application. Simply give us all that you are able to. Family traditions of aboriginal ancestry are an important part of our research.
Your membership in the Ontario Metis Family Records Center (Status) entitles you to the 10% discount offered on our other website as well as the use of our free member’s advertising page.
For those of you who love a bargain and want to save the time and trouble of annual renewals, we offer a discount for memberships running for two or more years.
Replacement cards are issued on request for lost or damaged cards, or every five years for those with Life memberships who would like to update their photo.
